Glucosamine in RECARTIX FORTE is a component of mucopolysaccharides and its found stimulating biosynthesisof cartilage and joint substances. Glucosamine stimulates hyaluronic acid synthesis and increases viscosity of synovial fluid. Glucosamine also diminishes cartilage degeneration and inhibits collagenese and phospholipase A2,  known to cause destruction in cartilage. Glucosamine is very beneficial in recovering from an injury to any of the joints. Glucosamine also relieves pain and improves the structure of the joints.

Chondroitin is one of the predominant glycosaminoglycans( GAGS). Chondroitin in RECARTIX FORTE increases viscosity of synovial fluid. It increases the proteoglycan synthesis. Chondroitin also works as a shock absorber . Chondroitin sulfate promotes cartilage regeneration and inhibits activity of harmful enzymes that breaks down the cartilage.

Vitamin C in RECARTIX FORTE slows the progression of osteoarthritis stimulates cartilage repair process and also acts as a powerful antioxidant. Vitamin E in RECARTIXFORTE is a powerful antioxidant, fights inflammation in osteoarthrithis and stimulates proteoglycans 12.5mg, Manganese (as Manganese sulphate monohydrate B.P) 20mg, Methyl sulphonyl methane U.S.P 200mg.

Dosage

• Take one or two tablets daily with meals.

• Each film coated tablet contains Glucosamine sulfate sodium chloride U.S.P 500mg, Chondroitin 12.5mg, Manganese (as Manganese sulphate monohydrate B.P) 20mg,Methyl sulphonyl methane U.S.P 200mg

Side effects

• It is well tolerated and causes only mild to moderate gastrointestinal side effects (nausea ,flatulence
  vomiting and heartburn)side effects which are tolerable.
